Hi, my name is Janice and I’m a 40-something working mother with a running problem.  I have three wonderful and VERY active daughters who are 13, 11, and 8. Because my girls play travel hockey and softball they keep me VERY busy chauffeuring them to their sports.

18 years ago I signed up to run a half marathon in honour of my grandmother and got hooked.  I suffer from depression and I’ve found that running helps me cope.  I’ve run numerous half marathons, 4 full marathons and have completed a half ironman triathlon.  I run in the mornings before my family wakes up or on my lunch breaks – I have a busy 9-5 job that I love very much.

I hope you’ll stick around to read more about my busy life and why I need running to keep me sane!

I work, I run, I have three daughters. Coffee keep me going until it's wine time. Running keeps me sane.
